What Makes Us DifferentBismarck Animal Clinic & Hospital
Our practice vision is to be a model of veterinary excellence in our community. Our work will increase the quality of life for our patients and our clients and honor the human-animal bond.
Our practice mission is to use our knowledge, kindness, time and compassion to serve the pets and humans in our community, providing them with individualized and high-quality care. We will uphold ourselves to high standards, in line with the American Animal Hospital Association and our own ethics. We will be supportive of our clients and each other.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is widely recognized as an organization which sets standards of veterinary excellence within the profession. To become AAHA accredited, a practice must undergo regular comprehensive evaluations by AAHA veterinary experts, who evaluate the practice on over 800 standards with standards ranging from patient care, pain management, safety, and client services, to name a few. Currently, 12-15 % of all veterinary practices in the United States and Canada are AAHA accredited.
In March 2017, Bismarck Animal Clinic and Hospital received recognition from AAHA for 25 years of AAHA accreditation. Our most recent evaluation was completed in May 2017.
The Aesculight veterinary laser can be used to perform a wide variety of surgical procedures. It can be used to make incisions without the excessive blood loss typical of traditional scalpel blade surgery. In addition to sealing small blood vessels as it cuts, the laser beam also seals nerve endings, which allows patients to be significantly more comfortable after surgery.
